A dreary, drizzly, Wednesday didn’t dampen our spirits during May half term as we met at Farringtons Farm in Farrington Gurney for a fun few hours. The cowtastic playbarn were kind enough to give us a space to sit and consume coffee while the kids had fun on the soft play and death slide. Included in the entrance price was a bag of animal feed but unfortunately due to the weather the animals were happier inside their shelter, except for a noisy donkey and the pigs. At 1.30 farmer Andy rounded us up for a tractor and trailer ride across the fields, much to the amusement of the herd of cows. It was lots of fun. We will certainly return in the near future, and hope for some dry weather so we can make use of the fabulous outdoor space there.
