Family Park and Picnic Day with FCDC
We have planned a meet up for all our FCDC service users to enjoy an afternoon at Blaise Castle Park. There’s plenty to do for example, they have a small park for the younger children or a bigger park for those that want to explore more, a large patch of greenery for those that would like to relax on this summers day or if you want the opposite, there’s a lovely trial for those who want to stretch their legs.
This is strictly for local children and families living with a hearing loss!
This is a great opportunity for everyone to come together and enjoy this safe space, along with some tasty lunch’s, snacks and drinks provided by The Family Centre (Deaf Children).
FOR ALL EVENTS
It is essential that all of our events and activities are enjoyable, welcoming and inclusive to all and we rely on all of our families who attend to ensure this is the case. For all our family events parents will be expected to be responsible for their children at all times to ensure we have a respectful, safe and inclusive environment. If there are any concerns or anyone does not feel this is the case please approach either staff or trustees who will always be available at all events.
FOR NEW FAMILIES
If it is your first time attending an event or you don’t know anyone else attending, please let the organisers know and they will link you with another parent as part of our buddy system.
