BSL Family Course
January 11 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Dates: Saturday 11th January, Monday 13th January, Monday 20th January, Monday 27th January, Monday 3rd February, Saturday 8th February.
Please note: Week- 1 and 6 will be a face-to-face 2 hour lesson held on Saturday 11th January and Saturday 8th February, 10-12pm, venue Elmfield School for Deaf Children. Lessons week 2-4 will be via Zoom 6-7pm.
This course is designed to teach families how to use British Sign Language in everyday family life with topics such as family members, names, greetings, food, mealtimes, numbers, colours, emotions/feelings, hospital, doctors, dentist, appointments, how to ask questions and lots more!
This is a non-qualification course. Limited places available. Please email admin@fcdc.org.uk if you have any questions about this course.

FOR ALL EVENTS
It is essential that all of our events and activities are enjoyable, welcoming and inclusive to all and we rely on all of our families who attend to ensure this is the case. For all our family events parents will be expected to be responsible for their children at all times to ensure we have a respectful, safe and inclusive environment. If there are any concerns or anyone does not feel this is the case please approach either staff or trustees who will always be available at all events.
FOR NEW FAMILIES
If it is your first time attending an event or you don’t know anyone else attending, please let the organisers know and they will link you with another parent as part of our buddy system.
