September Coffee Morning with CAMHS and kids football coaching!

September 8, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Come and join us for a coffee and chat at our Coffee Morning this month, with a talk from CAMHs about child wellbeing and mental health.

We also have Ben Martin, an FA level 3 coach (UEFA B) with us who will be able to provide BSL friendly coaching to the children while the parents chat. So please let us know if your child would be interested in coming. Places must be booked by Friday 7th September. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Our counsellor Shelley Frost will also be available throughout the morning, if there are any parents who would like to book a chat. Please let us know before Friday if you would like a one to one chat or to join the Parent Space group. The topic for September is likely to be starting school or ‘moving up’ – though the subject and discussions will be led by those who attend on the day!

Come along and meet other families over coffee and cake. As with all our coffee mornings, we have lots of crafts and games available for the children (and parents!). BSL interpreter and communication support also available.

FOR ALL EVENTS

It is essential that all of our events and activities are enjoyable, welcoming and inclusive to all and we rely on all of our families who attend to ensure this is the case. For all our family events parents will be expected to be responsible for their children at all times to ensure we have a respectful, safe and inclusive environment. If there are any concerns or anyone does not feel this is the case please approach either staff or trustees who will always be available at all events.

FOR NEW FAMILIES

If it is your first time attending an event or you don’t know anyone else attending, please let the organisers know and they will link you with another parent as part of our buddy system.

FOR STAFF

If you are available to work at an event, please email Helen at helen@fcdc.org.uk, stating the event you are interested in.
