We have a wide range of events running throughout the year, with something for everyone. If you have any questions about our events please contact us.
FUNK IT UP Dance School are joining our March Coffee Morning & Family Social
Dance & Movement Psychotherapist, Lottie, will lead a morning of fun, rhythm, and celebration!
We will be running dance workshops for two age groups: 4-7year olds & for 8+, dancing to a variety of music including African and Soul using some props and big materials for a fun filled workshop of movement and dance!
The children will be encouraged to use their whole body to find rhythm in the music. Dancing aims to help find the confidence to express themselves and to connect with others as well as a great way to improve coordination, fitness and muscle memory http://funkitupdance.com/

Our mornings are all about families coming together to support each other and for the children to have some fun in a safe environment with similar others. Elmfield school provides an ideal space and benefits from beautiful grounds for all families to make the most of -when the sun shines!
Come and find old friends, meet new ones, share ideas and experiences. If you would like more confidential support or advice about any matter, our counsellor Shelley will always be available on the day to speak to about any matter or at any time via email via Shelley@fcdc.org.uk
As with all our events, children remain the responsibility of their parent or carer
It is essential that all of our events and activities are enjoyable, welcoming and inclusive to all and we rely on all of our families who attend to ensure this is the case. For all our family events parents will be expected to be responsible for their children at all times to ensure we have a respectful, safe and inclusive environment. If there are any concerns or anyone does not feel this is the case please approach either staff or trustees who will always be available at all events.
If it is your first time attending an event or you don’t know anyone else attending, please let the organisers know and they will link you with another parent as part of our buddy system.
If you are available to work at an event, please email Helen at helen@fcdc.org.uk, stating the event you are interested in.
