This year we have organised trips to local leisure centres, archery lessons, water sports, a course of outdoor activities, a trip to the theatre and regular cinema trips for the children. For the families we have had an Easter egg hunt, a Summer fair, day trips to local parks and monthly coffee mornings for all the family with more workshops for the children. We run both our own events and work with others organisations to improve access to current community facilities. We are just about to start running a BSL choir for both children and adults and restart our BSL courses for children and adults.
An event every week that begins at 1:00pm on Sunday, repeating until December 10, 2017

Following on from our Watersports taster course, British Rowing have offered us four weeks initially of Row coaching for any children aged 10 and above based at Young Bristol’s Pools Warf Activity Centre on Hotwells Road.

It is essential that all of our events and activities are enjoyable, welcoming and inclusive to all and we rely on all of our families who attend to ensure this is the case. For all our family events parents will be expected to be responsible for their children at all times to ensure we have a respectful, safe and inclusive environment. If there are any concerns or anyone does not feel this is the case please approach either staff or trustees who will always be available at all events.
If it is your first time attending an event or you don’t know anyone else attending, please let the organisers know and they will link you with another parent as part of our buddy system.
If you are available to work at an event, please email Emma at firstname.lastname@example.org, stating the event you are interested in.
