Mothers Days Coffee Morning with talk from Kasia Lee, Play Therapist

March 10, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

We have a fantastic Coffee Morning lined up this weekend, we will be both celebrating Mothers Day and we also have a speaker who is coming to let families understand more about childrens behaviours. Kasia Lee is a qualified Play Therapist with a huge range of experience. She is keen to meet with FCDC families this weekend to explain more about the services she can offer and discuss a future pilot course the Family Centre will run if families feel they would benefit from this.

So please come along and find out more!

We also have all the usual crafts and games for the children with a delicious range of refreshments and also a little something for the mums!

Message from Kasia:

“My name is Kasia Lee-McMahon (Kasia). I am a qualified play therapist and provisional clinical supervisor, registered with PTUK, and have been practising since 2007.  In addition to my Masters in Play Therapy, I also have a BA in Deaf Studies and thus have a degree level in BSL.

I’m excited to be able to offer play therapy in BSL and English for children aged 3 and up, at my practise located in Elmfield School for Deaf Children. I am also able to offer parenting consultations and seminars.

A little about me: I trained in Bristol and after a few years practising here, I moved to Vietnam and worked within the international community and in a local orphanage. I specialise particularly in dealing with anxiety, language and communication difficulties, separation and divorce, self-esteem/confidence and in early years. I can work with wide range of other social, emotional, metal and behavioural difficulties. More information will be available on my website once it is completed (soon but tbc).”
