Mojo Active 4week course:1st, 8th,15th & 22nd August

Mojo Active : 4 week course of outdoor activities at this amazing site near Almondsbury. With its excellent facilities, space and highly trained instructors, the children will have a fantastic time whatever the activity!

As the website says “Get the kids off their screens and re-ignite their enjoyment of the great outdoors! Mojo Active offers a huge range of on-site activities ensuring kids are active and having fun. Mojo provides fantastic outdoor adventures, come and learn new skills and make great friends!”

Mojo Active were voted preferred Bristol Holiday Club in the Raring2Go 2016 awards and FCDC members are invited to have their own course of holiday activities each Wednesday throughout August.

Each session is open to all FCDC member children including siblings. Children are also welcome to bring a friend. Each session will take place on the following Wednesdays from 9-10.30am

One or two of the following activities will take place each session. Unless otherwise stated all are available for children ages 6 and above.

  • Low ropes
  • Survival Skills
  • Dam building
  • Fire lighting
  • Pond dipping
  • Climbing
  • Clay Faces
  • Archery (7+)
  • Assault course (7+)
  • Nerf gun battle
  • Guille suit hide and seek
  • Crate stack
  • Team Games
  • Tunnel Maze
  • Zorb football (10+)
  • Archery tag (10+)
  • High ropes (10+)

This 4 week course is just £20 for FCDC members (if you are not already a member please join here). Friends and non-members tickets for the course are £40.

All the sessions will be led by Mojo active staff and will also be supported by FCDC staff and volunteers

Children are welcome to bring a friend and siblings are very welcome.

Individual sessions are £7 per person (FCDC members) or £10 for non members/friends. If you are unable to make every week please book for the individual week instead:

FOR ALL EVENTS

It is essential that all of our events and activities are enjoyable, welcoming and inclusive to all and we rely on all of our families who attend to ensure this is the case. For all our family events parents will be expected to be responsible for their children at all times to ensure we have a respectful, safe and inclusive environment. If there are any concerns or anyone does not feel this is the case please approach either staff or trustees who will always be available at all events.

If it is your first time attending an event or you don’t know anyone else attending, please let the organisers know and they will link you with another parent as part of our buddy system.
