Christmas Craft – tree decorations for Treefest

November 18, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Free

Christmas Craft for St Mary Redcliffe Treefest & toy sale

Refreshments & cakes will be available! We will be making Christmas decorations for our Christmas Tree at the St. Mary Redcliffe Treefest  – all children invited!

Treefest is a Christmas tree display held at the St Mary Redcliffe every Christmas. Charities and organisations decorate a tree, in a style of their own choosing, which is fun and raises awareness of the work they do. We would like to arrange for one to represent all our deaf children together with the charities and organisations who support them. It is held between 6-11 December and each year they have around 100 trees – it is great to walk around as each tree is so individual. So it would be lovely if we can have something from as many of our children as possible to fully decorate our tree which has been kindly donated by one of our grandparents so please pop in throughout the morning to help fill our tree!

We can hold a small toy and book sale while this is taking place if anyone has anything they would like to sell – please let us know and we will book a table!

FOR ALL EVENTS

It is essential that all of our events and activities are enjoyable, welcoming and inclusive to all and we rely on all of our families who attend to ensure this is the case. For all our family events parents will be expected to be responsible for their children at all times to ensure we have a respectful, safe and inclusive environment. If there are any concerns or anyone does not feel this is the case please approach either staff or trustees who will always be available at all events.

FOR NEW FAMILIES

If it is your first time attending an event or you don’t know anyone else attending, please let the organisers know and they will link you with another parent as part of our buddy system.

FOR STAFF

If you are available to work at an event, please email Helen at helen@fcdc.org.uk, stating the event you are interested in.
