BSL for beginners: Online  (via Zoom)

Day: Tuesdays 27/04/2021- 08/06/2021 (excl half term 01.06.21)

Time: 5.30pm-6.30pm

Tutor: John Mancini

Cost: £20 (for FCDC members only)

The course will run every Tuesday evening, from 5.30pm-6.30pm, for 6 weeks and cover: fingerspelling, greetings, hobbies, colours, clothes, weather, work, numbers, describing people and daily living. Suitable for anyone who would like an introduction to BSL and to learn some everyday signs. We will also provide BSL pocket dictionary of signs.

If you are not currently a member of The Family Centre (Deaf Children) and a parent/carer or grandparent of a deaf child and would like to join, the cost is £10 for annual membership for the whole family. Please follow the link on the website to sign up:

FOR ALL EVENTS

For all our family events parents will be expected to be responsible for their children at all times to ensure we have a respectful, safe and inclusive environment. If there are any concerns or anyone does not feel this is the case please approach either staff or trustees who will always be available at all events.

If it is your first time attending an event or you don’t know anyone else attending, please let the organisers know and they will link you with another parent as part of our buddy system.
