This fantastic festival of Christmas trees has been held for the last three years at St Mary Redcliffe church in aid of the church’s work in the community and for Young Bristol the charity that has supported some of our older children this year. It attracts 1000s of visitor each year and this year there will be a tree representing the deaf children of Bristol and surrounding areas and the organisations that support them. Doors will be open to the public from 10-5pm from 6-11th December.
Many of the children have done a decoration for this on our craft morning on the 18th. We are still collecting for this if anyone would like to make anything at home. Creations can be dropped off at Elmfield reception before 1st December! We have done quite a collection of handprint/footprint reindeers so far so if children would like to do one of these that would be lovely but it really can be anything you choose – as long as you put your name (age and Christmas message) on the back! It would be lovely if we can have something from as many of our children as possible to fully decorate our tree which has been kindly donated by one of our grandparents.
